The kids worked independently or with a partner to brainstorm their character - what he/she was like, what his/her "vice" (bad habit) was and what would happen to that person if he/she entered Wonka's factory. They then created their character and wrote a chapter about their character's experience in the factory.
The results were AMAZING! Below please check out all the "6th Golden Ticket Winners" that were cut from Roald Dahl's book -- but in our opinion, shouldn't have been. And if you have the chance, the stories and character creations are hanging up right outside the Third Grade classroom.
